Marine Corps Historic Half Weekend begins in Fredericksburg, VA on Friday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m. with the opening of the Healthy Lifestyle Expo and continues through event day on Sunday, May 19. The Expo opening ceremony will be held outside the Expo at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center at 2371 Carl D Silver Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
This year, there are three Historic Half distance challenges: the Marine Corps Historic Half (13.1 miles); the Historic 10K (6.2 miles) and the Semper Fred 5K (3.1 miles). Each running event will begin at 7 a.m. with three separate start locations. All events will finish in the same location on Carl D Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg’s Central Park.
Media credential confirmation and pick up information will be sent via email, as requests are approved by the Historic Half Public Relations Coordinator. A Historic Half media credential is required to cover any Historic Half Weekend event.
